Become a Volunteer

As a self-funded charity we thrive off the passion for women’s empowerment and the commitment to make it happen by individuals like you. From attending or hosting an event, to volunteering at a talk or day camp, building a world free of discrimination and barriers starts in your backyard.

All volunteer applicants are opted-in to our Volunteer Bulletin. The Volunteer Bulletin is sent out monthly on an as-need basis and includes a listing of our current volunteer needs with instructions on how you can get started right away. Periodically, we reach out to individual applicants directly if their skills and interests meet a specific need at the time.

Note that due to the overwhelming response from our kind supporters, we are unable to respond to you individually. However, rest assured that you will receive our Volunteer Bulletin so that you will be presented with the many ways you can help.

Join The Action Team

Harness the power of your community. Whether you run a marathon, hold a film screening, or start a fundraising page online, you are only limited by your imagination with the number of ways you can support our work.

Provide skills-based assistance

Are you a web-designer, database expert, film maker or photography guru? Skills-based volunteers work with us to help develop or implement projects from organizing a database to designing a website.

Event Support

Behind every successful event is a team of dedicated volunteers to help with the planning, logistics, and coordination. There are plenty of ways you can help with our campaign-related events and annual fundraisers.

Ad Hoc Volunteering

Have a few extra hours in the week to help out with odds and ends but don’t want to commit to a specific project? Ad hoc volunteering is a great way to lend a hand on an as-needed basis.
